From 04.11.-07.11.2021 the 6th Legends Football Cup took place in Antalya. It was held in cooperation with the Antalya City Council and the German Embassy in Ankara and Antalya. Former footballers compete in the tournament, which is held to strengthen Turkish-German friendship. Antalyaspor, Werder Bremen, Galatasaray, Hannover 96, FC Nürnberg, FC Adler veteran teams, Akdeniz University All Star Team and Acun Medya teams take part in the tournament. Many former national soccer players such as Fabian Ernst, Ivan Klasnic and coach Christoph took part in the tournament. In a thrilling final, the legends team from Galatasaray Istanbul won against 1. FC Nürnberg 2-0.
