Since 02/07/2019 a new law is in force stating that every foreign customer who has a telephone and/ or Internet connection in his name, must re-register.
Customers who have a residency permit (ie an Ikamet) need only go with their customer number and their Ikamet, to the relevant provider (Türkcell, Vodafone, Türk Telekom) and re-register their connection.
Customers who do not have an Ikamet, must go to the immigration office and the city hall to get a registration number. Without a re-registration, the connections are shut down. We will help our customers with a service contract.
These processes are of course also necessary if you want to have new phone or Internet connections.
