The Tourism Commissioner of the German federal government, Thomas Bareiß, said that he is building bridges between the two countries with tourism. The representative of the tourist called on the Germans to go on holiday to Turkey. In an interview with FAZ, Bareiß said that he recently spent his vacation in Turkey. According to the parliamentary secretary of state of the federal Ministry of Economic Affairs, tourism builds personal bridges between countries: “We need it more than ever at present. Stability and partnership are in the interests of Germany, but also in the interest of the Turkish population,” said Bareiß. The German politician also drew attention to the hospitality of the Turks.
