Two new bans are coming to the rental of electric scooters. When the ministry’s draft goes into effect, sensors will be installed to prevent two people from getting on an electric scooter at the same time. The draft law also stipulates that sensors must be installed to determine whether a scooter is traveling on an expressway, how fast it is driving and then slow down and stop this scooter. Both points are aimed at traffic safety, since both excessive speeds and driving with 2 people are the main causes of accidents.
