Turkey exported commercial vehicles worth over five billion dollars last year. With a value of 1.4 billion dollars, most of this was exported to Great Britain. Italy ($590 million) and Slovenia ($490, 466 million) took second and third place respectively.
Exports to the United States increased by 124.75 percent compared to 2021. While the export value was $171.6 million in 2021, it increased to $385.7 million in 2022.
Overall, the Turkish automotive industry recorded a 5.7 percent increase in exports to around 31 billion dollars in 2022 compared to the previous year. The proportion of commercial vehicles exported was 16.3 percent.
