Relations between Turkey and Finland have been described very well by the ambassador. Turkey has been one of the most popular holiday destinations in Finland for 25 years. The governor of Antalya, Münir Karaloglu, said that relations between Finland and Turkey have been strengthened by mutual political visits. According to Koray Turan, the honorary consul of Antalya, Finnish citizens have so far purchased more than 3000 properties in Alanya. Many Finns would live in Alanya all year round.
