The airport director of the Norwegian airport Alesund, Tor Hande has visited the chairman of ALTSO, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mehmet Şahin. The reason for this visit was a request to increase the flight numbers from Alesund to Gazipaşa-Alanya. There is currently 1 flight per week. Mr. Şahin gave his full support. During his visit, airport director Hande said that the demand for flights to Gazipaşa is much greater than the supply. That is why many Norwegians would choose other holiday destinations. Last year there were 6-7 direct flights. There is only one this season, he said.
