Good news for all tourists to Turkey: The Turkish government has developed a comprehensive plan that will make it possible to travel to Turkey again for tourism purposes from June. Every incoming tourist should be tested for the virus at the airports and border crossings. The test only takes a few minutes and the results are available after a few hours – there is no need to wait for the test results at the airport. If there are increased cases in Turkey and tourists also need medical care, the Turkish government ensures that there is sufficient capacity in the hospitals and that intensive care beds are also available so that each patient can receive adequate treatment. It should be briefly recalled that Turkey sent masks and ventilators to various European countries (including Spain and Italy) for support at an early stage.
