For a few weeks it has not been possible to get a Turkish tax number directly from the tax office.
This is only possible online. For this you need your original passport (which you should also use to enter the country so that it is in the system) and your identity card. In addition, a copy of the passport must be uploaded during the process.
When entering data, make sure that no i and ü periods are used. Registration is free. Foreigners should have a tax number for: opening a bank account, buying a property, buying a car, subscribing to utilities, taking out insurance, receiving health services, performing notarial procedures, applying for residence permits, etc. Obtaining a tax number is a simple application.
