Turkey helps to avoid quarantine

A corona test before or immediately after returning to Germany can prevent a 14-day quarantine if you come from a “risk country”. The Turkish authorities are now organizing such tests at the airport and issuing certificates translated into German for the German authorities.
As is known, Germany has been demanding a corona test recognized by the Robert Koch Institute for a few days, which can be used to avoid quarantine after re-entry from a “risk country”. Preparations for such tests, which should be available from July 1, are ongoing at Turkish airports. Because the test cannot be older than 48 hours, the Turkish Ministry of Health organizes the examination directly at the airports before departure. According to reports, these tests are recognized in Germany.
The test is carried out and evaluated immediately. A certificate with a German translation is also issued on the spot. The whole procedure, which should cost around 15 euros, takes two to three hours, so early arrival at the airport is advisable.
