The Cannes Film Festival, one of the most important of its kind, takes place every year in May. Program Manager Arnaud Gourmelen and Se-Yap’s “Professional Association of Film Makers” will meet in the framework of the project “Festival in Istanbul” from 3 to 6 May. The project “Festivals in Istanbul” is being carried out with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism since 2014. The aim of the project is to make the Turkish film more visible on the international stage. The program advisor of the “15 days of the directors” of the Cannes Film Festival, Gourmelen, will attend the meeting with producers, directors and other representatives from the industry. The program will then be continued in the spring at the Venice Film Festival.
