The only industry that was not affected by the pandemic was real estate. There has been a tremendous demand for all types of real estate in Alanya. Data from the TUIK (Turkish Institute for Statistics) show that Antalya was second only to Istanbul in terms of property sales for foreigners in September. In September 1358 of the 6528 houses sold in Antalya were bought by the builders. In these 1358 foreign sales Alanya was in first place. The President of the Association of Real Estate Professionals proved that sales to foreigners in Alanya rose to record levels during the pandemic. Alanya’s warm climate and safe environment during the pandemic have a positive impact on the real estate business. He said we have started to become a trendy city, there are also high requests for luxury houses.
