According to the latest information from the hotel association TÜROFED, a promising tourism year 2020 is in sight for the country’s travel industry. The industry already had very good visitor numbers in 2019.
Sururi Çorabatır, president of the TÜROFED hotel association, told the Anadolu Ajansı news agency that he expects the tourism year 2020 to be successful due to the very good early bookings. His association is based on double growth figures.
In 2019, 12 percent more tourists from the Netherlands came to Turkey. Germany is also optimistic because early bookings for the new year exceeded those of the previous year.
