On April 4th, the head of the municipality of Alanya and the energy company Akdeniz Elektrik (CLK) have signed the agreement to start the construction of solar power stations (Gunes Enerji Santrali, GES). For the construction of GES, an area is chosen on the slopes of the Taurus Mountains above Alanya. Construction is expected to be completed within 16 months.
