Ramadan begins in 2022 on April 2nd and lasts until May 1st. Devout Muslims all over the world fast for about four weeks. The end of Ramadan (Şeker Bayram) is one of the most important Muslim celebrations. The three-day festival begins on May 2nd and lasts until May 4th. The festival is all about family. On these days there are visits to relatives. Every year, the month of fasting and thus all other holidays are shifted forward by 10/11 days, so that Ramadan gradually runs through all the seasons.
