If you buy one or more properties in Türkiye with a total value of USD 400,000, you can obtain Turkish citizenship.
When applying for the land register transfer, the purpose of obtaining Turkish citizenship must be stated. The application is subject to a separate examination and requires the approval of the Ministry. After approval, a note will be added to the land registry that the property(s) cannot be sold for 3 years.
It is therefore also possible to purchase several properties with a total value of at least USD 400,000. However, all applications must be submitted at the same time, no previously acquired properties can be used for this purpose.
However, only properties that are sold by a Turkish citizen or a Turkish company are suitable for this. So the previous owner can’t be a foreigner!
