To purchase a property in Turkey, you also need your own local account.
In order to open an account at a Turkish bank as a foreigner, you need a passport and proof of address from your home country. For German citizens, an ID card is sufficient for proof of address; everyone else needs a utility bill (e.g. electricity/water/gas/internet/telephone) showing their name and address.
