The Tour of Turkey took place from April 11th to April 18th, 21st. Cycling enthusiasts followed the race directly on the tracks or live on international TV. Jose Manuel Diaz (Delko) took overall victory in the 8-day tour of Turkey. The victory of the day on the decisive mountain finish on day 5 and a defense of the bonus second chase by second Jay Vine (Alpecin), who was only one second short of the 26-year-old Spaniard in the final ranking, was enough for him. Eduardo Sepulveda (Androni) completed the podium. All other 7 stages were decided in the mass sprint, where Mark Cavendish (Deceuninck) found his way back to success with 4 daily successes.
