On almost 24,000 hectares of land in Alanya and the surrounding area, a wide variety of fruits, vegetables and grains are grown. Thanks to the favorable climatic conditions, agriculture can be practiced in Alanya for 12 months. A large part of this is made up of Alanya bananas (approx. 135,000 t) and Alanya avocados (approx. 19,000 t). Other crops are tomatoes (approx. 131,900 t), cucumbers (approx. 110,000 t) and aubergines (approx. 50,000 t). This means that almost all of Turkey’s vegetable and fruit needs can be covered. Mangoes are new to the portfolio. They bring a yield of about 190,000 TL / dönüm (1,000 m²) and year.
