Across Turkey 173,143 properties changed hands in January. This emerges from the real estate market statistics from TÜIK, the statistical office of Turkey. Of 173,143 properties, 70,587 were apartments / houses, 49,578 were farminglands, 31,813 were plots, 8,064 were commercial properties and the rest were other properties. The land registries in Turkey received from the property sales 1.072 billion TL (the equivalent of 125 million euros) registration and transfer fees.
